The Lord's Prayer Matthew 6:9-13 Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. v. 9 Praise God for who He is as revealed in His Name: El Olam-Everlasting, Eternal Yahweh-Self Existent El Elyon-Most High El Shaddai-Almighty, Omnipotent Agape-Love Jehovah Rapha-Healer Jehovah Shalom-PeaceJehovah Shammah-Lord is There Jehovah Nissi-Victory Jehovah M'Kaddesh-Holy Jehovah Tsidkenu-Righteousness Jehovah Rohi-Shepherd Jehovah Sabaoth-Lord of Hosts Jehovah Jireh-Provider Jehovah Shaphat-All Knowing, Judge, Wisdom Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. v. 10 Ask God to establish His will and His work in the many personal and corporate areas of your life: Family Relationships Education Government Church Vocation Give us this day our daily bread. v. 11 Ask God to supply your needs in the following areas: Family Health Physical Needs Finances Church Spiritual Needs Job Transportation Emotional Needs And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. v. 12 Ask God to forgive you of the following: Known Sins Repeated Sins Unforgiveness Unknown Sins Blame Complacency Past Sins Resurfacing Sins Committed Against Us (Hurts) Lack of Love for Him and Others And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. v. 13 Ask God to lead you away from: Unhealthy Friendships Past Negative Images Ungodly Fantasies Unedifying Conversation Temptations Time Wasters Ask God to deliver you from: Satanic Thoughts Satanic Attacks Undesirable Dreams Addictions Unsuspecting Temptations Repetitive Fears For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. v. 13 Ask God to: Speak, for you are listening. Answer in the time and in the way that fits His perfect will. Seal this prayer with the signature (word and name) of Jesus.
