How Do We Walk In God’s Calling Joshua 1:5 1. Know That He Is With You • God has given us the Holy Spirit to give us power like we have never had before I have never led before like I have led with the Spirit. › You can try to do things on your own, but when you do them with the Holy Spirit you will see fruit like you have never seen before! Joshua 1:7 2. Stand Firm In What God Is Saying • When you do what God has called you to do, trust me, you will face opposition. There is a long list of people that did not agree with what God was doing in and through my leadership. › When you lead in the authority God has given you, you will face opposition, but do not back down from what God has called you to do. Joshua 1:9 3. Walk In Confidence • There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance As a pastor I have to make a lot of decisions, I have to walk that line. › We have to walk in confidence as Christians, but we have to be careful not to be arrogant jerks. What does this mean for us? 1. Do you know who you are to him? 2. Do you know what he has called you to do? 3. Are you ready to walk in confidence?
