LOVE || PART 8 Love Stands Alone 1. Never Ending Love never stops loving... 1 Corinthians 13:8 (TPT) This love never folds under pressure of the most intense and sustained kind.  This love continues through death into eternity. This is the love of God. ...God is love 1 John 4:8 2. Temporary Gifts Love never stops loving. It extends beyond the gift of prophecy, which eventually fades away. It is more enduring than tongues, which will one day fall silent. Love remains long after words of knowledge are forgotten. Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, 1 Corinthians 13:8-9 (TPT) Each of these will either become irrelevant or else be swallowed up in the perfection of eternity: for when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away.  The gifts of the Spirit have a place and meaning as much now as in the early church because Christians today need the same power, guidance and encouragement to live for Christ and accomplish his purpose in the church.  3. Perfection but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away. 1 Corinthians 13:10 (TPT)
