Jesus was a friend of sinners, becasue that is who needed him. 2. They Had Their Doubts John 20:24-25  Jesus was compassionate to Thomas, and loved him through his doubt Jesus welcomes your questions, he is not afraid of them. 3. They Failed Jesus Luke 22:61-62  Peter was a beloved and trusted friend of Jesus and in the heat of battle he made a mistake. Failures are only failures if you do not learn from them. 4. They Said Yes In Faith Matthew 4:18-20  Jesus did not give them a long pitch, they just immediately went and followed him. 5.
